Photography
Photography didn’t start out as a strong skill for Noel. In 2005 at a Halloween party at Orange Lantern he decided to take pictures of everyone in their costumes. In the weeks to come, he started taking pics for a number of bands such as Crank and Future 86. A recent quote from Noel makes his point in three simple words, “Photography is
AWESOME!!!!”
Noel used a point and shoot digital camera at the early stages. He develop a style and technique of taking pics from the side of the waist while looking at the picture viewer rather than taking pictures at eye level. In doing this, he found that interesting photographic compositions and perspectives of the musicians would reveal themselves. As his skill set improved he found the limits of point and shoot cameras wearing on him. He was looking forward to expanding his abilities with a camera that didn’t limit his potential. Noel recently purchased a Canon 30D and is enjoying the vast superiority of the picture quality. He looks forward to showing what he can do with a DSLR!!!
Make sure you keep an eye out for his upcoming work.
