Laurel Schrock
Laurel discovered her passion for photography when she moved to New York and began shooting landmark buildings and landscapes around the city in late 2008. Shortly after this, she started attempting self-portraits with pinup images of Betty Paige from the 1950’s being her largest influence. Friends who admired her work began asking her to do headshots and this is when she realized how much she loved the creativity aspect of the editing process.
She stumbled onto her interest in “nightlife” photography when she decided to take pictures at an Amish Outlaws show one night and she was hooked. She enjoyed being able to capture candid shots of the band members as well as people in the audience who were enjoying the show. She’s determined to improve her skills and have as much fun as she can in the process.
